This warrior has been specially trained by his sect to excel in hunting and combating spellcasters of all kinds.

Advantages

• Each successful hit bestows a 10% cumulative chance of spell failure on the target.
• +1% Magic Resistance per level.

Disadvantages

• May not use any magic items apart from weapons and armor.

When to pick it

• Devastating against enemy mages: a few hits can lock a caster out of spell use entirely.
• The "no magical items" rule is severe in BG2:EE — wands, rings, cloaks, potions are all off the menu. Plan accordingly.
