Half-Elf¶
Half-elves carry good features from both parent races — handsome folk with the curiosity, inventiveness, and ambition of their human ancestors paired with the refined senses, love of nature, and artistic tastes of their elven blood.
Traits¶
- No ability score modifiers.
- 30% resistance against charm and sleep magics.
- Infravision — see warm bodies as red shapes in darkness.
Strengths¶
- The broadest multi-class option roster in the game — half-elves can combine almost any classes.
- Some innate charm/sleep resistance without the elf's Constitution penalty.
- Infravision.
Weaknesses¶
- No ability bonuses to push any single score higher than rolled.
- Charm/sleep resistance is much weaker than a full elf's.
- Cannot dual-class (only humans may).
