A wizard who specializes in magic that alters physical reality.

School affinity

• School: Alteration.
• Opposed school: Abjuration — Transmuters cannot learn Abjuration spells.

Specialist bonus

• One additional spell of each spell level memorisable per day.

When to pick it

• A utility-buff specialist — bonus Haste, Improved Haste, Stoneskin, Polymorph Self charges.
• Losing Abjuration removes most defensive countermagic — no Spell Shield, Globe of Invulnerability, Minor Globe of Invulnerability, Protection from Energy.
