Diviner (Mage Kit)

A wizard who specializes in detection and divining magics — revealing what is hidden, identifying items, and seeing through illusions.

Advantages

  • May memorize one additional spell of each level per day (once that level is unlocked).
  • Specializes in the Divination school.

Disadvantages

  • Opposed school: Conjuration/Summoning — cannot scribe or cast any spell from this school.

When to pick it

  • Loss of Conjuration removes Stinking Cloud, Summon spells, Cloudkill, Animate Dead — Diviners have to rely on other casters for summons and area control.
  • Best paired with a Conjurer-heavy companion who can fill the gap.
