Bestiary of the North

Creatures known to inhabit Kuldahar Pass and the Spine of the World, as catalogued by Hrothgar in the Survival Guide to the North. This is only a small sample of what the Spine gives birth to.

• Bears — vicious northern specimens
• Beetles — fire, giant, and bombardier beetles
• Carrion Crawlers — paralysing scavengers
• Ghouls — flesh-eating undead of the Vale of Shadows
• Goblins — small humanoids who infest the Spine in thousands
• Ogres — strong, dumb mercenaries of the orc tribes
• Sword Spiders — soldier spiders with sword-like mandibles
• Trolls — fast-regenerating predators vulnerable to fire and acid
• Wolves — cunning northern hunters
