Necromancer (Mage Kit)

A Mage who specializes in magic dealing with death — slays, drains, animates, and curses.

Advantages

  • May memorize one additional spell of each level per day (once that level is unlocked).
  • Specializes in the Necromancy school.

Disadvantages

  • Opposed schools: Illusion, Enchantment/Charm — cannot scribe or cast any spell from these schools.

When to pick it

  • Necromancy carries some of the deadliest single-target spells in the game (Vampiric Touch, Death Spell, Wail of the Banshee).
  • Loss of Illusion removes Blur, Mirror Image, and Improved Invisibility — many Necromancers lean on protective items instead.
