Jester (Bard Kit)

This Bard is well-versed in the arts of ridicule and hilarity, and uses his abilities to distract and confuse his enemies, cavorting madly during combat. Do not mistake him for a true fool — he can also be quite deadly.

Advantages

• The Jester's song does not help allies. Instead, it affects every opponent within 30 feet, who must save vs. spell with a –4 penalty once per round or be Confused.

When to pick it

• An area-control specialist — Confusion turns enemies on each other and is devastating against melee mobs.
• Useless to the party's offensive buffs, so works best with parties that don't need bardic support.
