Cavalier (Paladin Kit)

The most common picture of the knight — the chivalrous warrior who epitomizes honor, courage, and loyalty. Specializes in battling "classical" evil monsters such as demons and dragons.

Advantages

  • +3 to-hit and +3 damage against all demonic and draconic creatures.
  • May use Remove Fear once per day per level.
  • Immune to charm, fear, poison, and morale failure.
  • 20% resistance to fire and acid.

Disadvantages

  • May not use missile weapons.

When to pick it

  • A near-immune frontliner — charm, fear, and poison immunity shut down many common enemy strategies.
  • Bring a missile-user partner since the Cavalier can't reach over the front line.
