Ranger¶
The Ranger is a warrior and a woodsman — skilled with weapons and knowledgeable in the ways of the forest. Rangers often protect and guide lost travellers and honest peasant-folk.
Class features¶
- May wear any armor and use any weapon.
- May not exceed Specialization in any weapon class.
- Begins Specialized (two slots) in Two-Weapon Style; may achieve Specialization in any fighting style and Mastery (three slots) in Two-Weapon Style.
- May select a Racial Enemy — a creature type against which the Ranger gains +4 to-hit and damage.
- May use Charm Animal once per day every 2 levels (1 use at 1st level).
- May Hide in Shadows while wearing no armor, Leather, or Studded Leather.
- May cast druidic spells starting at level 8.
- Hit Die: d10.
- Alignment requirement: good. If party reputation falls below 4, Rangers become Fallen and lose all class abilities.
