Enchanter (Mage Kit)¶
A wizard who specializes in manipulating the minds of sentient beings.
Advantages¶
- May memorize one additional spell per level per day.
- Full access to charm and domination spells (Sleep, Charm Person, Domination, Confusion, etc.).
Disadvantages¶
- Opposed School: Invocation/Evocation — may not learn Magic Missile, Fireball, Lightning Bolt, Cone of Cold, Chain Lightning, Skull Trap, etc.
When to pick it¶
- Losing direct damage spells leaves the Enchanter dependent on disabling enemies and letting the party do the killing.
- Strong for thematic charm-master playstyles; weak for raw firepower.
